Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 PC Game Review

Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 is an indie game in triple-a Games clothing and that’s how they’re going to suck people in. You’ll see the screenshots and maybe some of the gameplay footage and you’ll think it looks like a big-budget Ubisoft game like the far cry of watchdogs and yet truth be told this is a game with an open world and a fair bit of polish at least in terms of certain aspects of the game’s presentation. But the truth is they say is in the pudding in the gameplay is where it all falls apart. It’s at times horribly unrefined unpolished and most importantly unoriginal. Developers do games responsible for such classics as sniper ghost warrior 1 sniper ghost Warrior 2 Terrace takedown 1 through 2 3 in enemy front ironically. Another half-assed open-world game running on the Crytek engine was released for PlayStation 4. Xbox One and Microsoft Windows it’s some of the few times I’ve been playing a video again where I started to question. Whether or not this was a hobby that was actually worth my time, I don’t know where to start picking this one apart. Do I start with the character models that look like they’re from 2006? Do I talk about how basic controls simply refuse to function at times? How about the clunkiness and unintuitive design of the game’s various interfaces or the fact that it hasn’t got an original bone in its body. That’s right everything in Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 has been done before. And better it takes elements you’ll have seen in countless other open-world FPS games from driving around taking over outposts collecting hidden weapons and items scattered at random throughout. In the game world through the basic things like parkour and sliding down zipline there are fast travel stations melee takedowns and PC interrogation skill points a shitty checkpoint system and that innate ability to highlight enemies and items in the environment. You know that kind of skill we’ve seen in games like Assassin’s Creed, Batman Arkham, Knight in The Last of Us I could go on and on.

But my point is we’ve all been there and we’ve all done it countless times before and truly every mechanic in this game every single mechanic is a case of throwing at a wall and seeing what sticks only did I mention. You’ve got a drone that you can fly around to tag enemies because we haven’t even seen that before either have we. There are even lockers and dumpsters that you’re able to hide in for some reason that serves absolutely zero purposes. I don’t know maybe someone at CI Games was playing alien isolation or outlast and thought he throw them in for shits and giggles and that honestly wouldn’t surprise me because this game is at times an utter joke just not in the haha kind of way but look. Let’s just slam on the brakes there for a moment and get back to basics so ghost Warrior III does try to die and us to tell an actual story. It does achieve that at the very least you play a Marine tonight.

That’s all I got for this article. Thank you so much for reading. See you in the next one.
